While anxiously awaiting news of Pat Tryson’s successor, as the crew chief of the No 2 Dodge driven by Kurt Busch, there are reports that Jay Guy, who just announced leaving Furniture Row Racing, will be named the crew chief of the No 12 car with driver Brad Keselowski.

Fox Sports.com is reporting that Guy is leaving the Denver, Colorado-based team to head to the traditional Charlotte-area base of Penske Racing.

"We wish Jay all the best -- he is a good friend who worked hard to help bring us to where we are at," said Joe Garone, General Manager of Furniture Row Racing.

"Jay was a true asset to our organization the past three years and we support him with his new opportunity."

In a related development Garone went on to say that the atmosphere at the Denver-based shop is upbeat as the team prepares to compete in all of the 36 NASCAR Sprint Cup races in 2010.

"The future is exciting at Furniture Row Racing," added Garone. "We are continuing to expand our resources to run a full schedule next year and are on the right track towards giving our driver Regan Smith the best tools possible to race competitively on a weekly basis."
