The all-new, second-generation Audi Q5 crossover was finally revealed today at the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
The new generation follows on seamlessly from its predecessor while maximizing efficiency and driving dynamics thanks to new engines (including a 252-horsepower 2.0L TFSI), a reduced weight, and the best aerodynamics in its class, Audi says. The new quattro AWD system with ultra technology also plays its part: It always disengages the rear-axle drive whenever it is not needed, and if necessary it can predictively re-engage it.
The new Audi Q5 also offers various chassis options including an air suspension. Inside, you are greeted by sophisticated materials, excellent build quality, and even more space than in the previous generation. Audi connect brings a wide range of useful services on board. The driver and passengers access these via the slick Virtual Cockpit (a 12.3” display behind the steering wheel), the MMI centre display or the Rear Seat Entertainment system.
Finally, a wide selection of driver assistance systems take care of safety, comfort and efficiency ― from exit warning and predictive efficiency assistant to turn assist and traffic jam assist.
Also making its world debut at the Paris Auto Show was the new Audi A5 coupe, which you can see below.
