Excited about the world premiere yet?

If you find parking manoeuvres to be a real challenge, we have some good news for you: The next-generation Nissan LEAF, to be unveiled in Japan on September 6, will feature a system called ProPILOT Park—a world first for Nissan.

The technology helps drivers park by automatically guiding the car into a parking spot. Sonars and cameras effortlessly guide the car into a parallel, angled, front or straight back-in parking spot, reducing driver stress by handling accelerator, braking and steering input. The driver activates the technology in three easy steps, monitors the area around the vehicle and applies the brakes if necessary.

A few weeks ago, we learned that the new Nissan LEAF would also feature ProPILOT Assist, which allows for autonomous single-lane highway driving. It will be a very technologically advanced LEAF, for sure!
