The 2011 New York International Auto Show is fast approaching and participating car makers have already started releasing details and pictures of their new models.
Today, Subaru provided the first official shot of the fully-redesigned 2012 Impreza sedan as a production model. It will be on display in the Big Apple from April 22 to May 1 along with the five-door hatchback.
At first glance, the car appears to sport a less dramatic roofline than the superb Impreza concept introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show back in November. The nose and tail also look longer.
The only other information announced by Subaru is a fuel economy rating of 36 mpg (6.5 L/100 km), the highest of any all-wheel drive car on sale in the U.S.
