In 2014, Nissan hit the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil to unveil the Kicks crossover concept, inspired by the Extrem concept released in 2012. The Japanese manufacturer this week confirmed that the model will enter production shortly and be sold as the Nissan Kicks not just in South America, but also in other global markets.
Will it be a new addition to the lineup or a replacement for the Nissan JUKE, which targets the same type of customers? We don’t have the answer yet.
Influenced by Brazilian and Latin American cultures, styles and colours, the Kicks will be assembled in Rio de Janeiro alongside the Nissan Versa and March.
