Nissan releases pricing on 2012 NV commercial trucks

Nissan has announced the Canadian prices of the 2012 NV, the automaker’s first commercial vehicle offering in the country.

Prices range from $30,998 to $39,668, and consumers will have the choice between three models, the NV1500, NV2500 and NV3500 HD with available S and SV packages.

Offering a choice of two roofs, standard and high, the vehicle is delivered standard with a 4.0-litre V6 engine production 261 hp and 281 ft-lb of torque, and a 5.6-litre V8 generating 317 hp and 385 ft-lb of torque is optional. Both mills are mated to a five-speed autobox.

The 2012 NV features wide-angle rear doors with a maximum opening of 243 degrees, cargo area mounting points, waterproof seat fabric and an optional centre console with room for binders and a portable computer. The passenger seat folds down to create a worktable.

The NV should be available in early spring.
