The new 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Cayman S will go on sale across Canada as early as this November. You don’t even have to wait that long to reserve a copy, however, as dealers are now accepting orders.
Powered by the same turbocharged flat-4 engines as the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S, the fixed-top models will retail from $61,500 and $75,600, respectively.
The 300-horsepower 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman can get to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono package and tops out at 275 km/h, while the 350-horsepower Porsche 718 Cayman S completes the sprint in just 4.2 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 285 km/h.
Aesthetically, the base 718 Cayman features large front air intakes, a low-slung body, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, newly styled taillights, and more. The interior comes standard with a new sport steering wheel (borrowed from the 918 Spyder) and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Apple CarPlay compatibility.
Options include a voice-activated navigation system, the Porsche Connect app, and LED headlights with 4-point daytime running lights.
