The 2008 Boxster will get two Limited Edition models, in both base and S trim, and 500 will be sold in the USA and Canada starting on September 28th.

All Limited Edition versions will be painted orange, a colour that used to be reserved only for the 911 GT3 RS. According to Porsche, even the exhaust system and safety bars will be orange.

Other cosmetic changes include a SportDesign package, which contains front spoiler lips, a redesigned and automatically-extending rear spoiler as well a modified rear fascia.

To contrast the orange paint job, several elements will be painted black: the alloy wheels (the Boxster gets 18-inch, while the Boxster S gets 19-inch), outside mirrors, front and side air inlets, convertible top and badging.

Inside, the cars get black leather seats, carpet, dash and door panels. The wheel, seats, shifter and handbrake will be trimmed in Alcantara. Orange accents will also highlight the luxurious cabin.

Pricing has not been announced in Canada, but in the U.S., the Limited Edition Boxster will sell for $49,900 USD, while the Limited Edition Boxster S will retail for $59,900 USD.
