The prices of the all-new, 2003 Honda Accord Sedan were announced today by Honda Canada Inc. The 2003 Accord Sedan is available in DX, LX-G, EX-L and LX V6, EX V6 trims, and will be on sale nation-wide at Honda dealers on September 30.

Emphasizing its new sporty character, the 2003 Accord Sedan brings a new level of style, performance and sophistication to the intermediate class while appealing to the buyer on a more 'emotional' level. With prices starting at $23,800 for the Accord DX sedan, all models are upgraded with a list of standard features, including ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), available 5-speed automatic transmission, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, LED dashboard illumination and a multi-functional 'Wave' style key which eliminates the need for a remote key fob.

Every new Accord Sedan comes equipped with a new, more powerful engine that is both more fuel-efficient and emits fewer emissions when compared to the previous model. Output of the new 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine is increased from 150 to 160 horsepower. The optional V6 engine delivers 20 percent more power, from 200 to 240 horsepower, yet displacement remains at 3.0-litres.

The Accord Sedan DX, LX-G and EX-L trims come standard with the 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine coupled with a new 5-speed manual or optional 5-speed automatic transmission. The Sedan LX V6 and EX V6 trims come standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission and are also equipped with a second generation Traction Control System (TCS) integrated into a new Electric Throttle Control (ETC) system.
