Honda P-Nut

Forget about common sense, let alone short-term production. The Honda P-Nut, which stands for Personal-Neo Urban Transport, is a highly-futuristic miniature coupe that would never become a reality, even in the wildest dreams of its own designers. While the P-Nut is a pure experiment, some of its technologies may eventually find their way into production models from Honda.

As a styling exercise, this concept shows a unique way to accommodate three people in a vehicle that’s barely larger than a smart fortwo. The driver sits in the middle of the front seat, while the other two occupants can comfortably relax in the back, with as much legroom as in a family sedan.

What makes the P-Nut so special is the exceptional visibility. The side glass is out of proportion and the windshield almost meets the front bumper.

As for the engine, well, there was none under the hood. However, according to Honda’s prediction, this type of vehicle would likely receive a tiny combustion engine à la smart, or better yet, an electric motor.
