Barely a week after their Rocky Mountain Rally win in Calgary, second round of the Canadian Rally Championship (CRC), Antoine L'Estage and Nathalie Richard came out on top of the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally, in Wellsboro Pennsylvania, round four of the Rally America series.

"Just taking part in both events with the same car is something pretty special when you consider the time it takes to cross the continent and the logistical challenges involved," indicates L'Estage.

"Winning both is especially sweet and I’m really so proud of the entire team."

Not only did the team overcome the logistical challenge prior to the competition, the Rockstar Energy Drink guys also fought with an overheating engine during.

"Our engine was overheating and we had to slow down," remembers L'Estage's co-driver, Nathalie Richard.

"Luckily, John Buffum and our mechanics performed a minor overnight miracle when a replacement engine arrived from Vermont at 1 am and the guys were able to put it in the car before we needed to start the second leg."

The win puts the pair further ahead in the North American Rally Cup, but most importantly springs them up from sixth to second in Rally America classifications. Thanks to their two wins in the CRC, they already lead the standings in Canada.

Dave Higgins, leader in Rally America, came in second at STPR. Another Canadian competitor, Crazy Leo Urlichich (Subaru Impreza), completed the top 3.
