Subaru Rally Team USA's David Higgins overcame slippery conditions to beat both Ken Block and Antoine L'Estage to victory of the 2013 100 Acre Wood Rally, round two of the Rally America season, in Missouri.

Higgins and his co-driver Craig Drew were actually behind Block and L'Estage until the first night stage, where both front-runners lost their way.

Block damaged the front end of his Ford Fiesta, while L'Estage was suffering from overheating issues. Neither saw the finish.

That makes it two DNF in two consecutive rallies for the Canadian ace, following his Perce-Neige retirement earlier this month.

Joseph Burke and Lauchlin O'Sullivan completed the podium instead.
