Mikko Hirvonen (Citroen) escaped unhurt after a high speed crash during a testing session in Italy on Thursday.
The Finn and his teammate Sebastien Loeb were testing on gravel roads in the Toscana area, Italy to prepare the Rally New Zealand.
Entering a fast left-hand corner, Hirvonen’s Citroën DS3 hit the side of the road and rolled several times.
Mikko Hirvonen and his codriver Jarmo Lehtinen were luckily unhurt, and they were able to return to their hotel after they underwent physcial examinations at the hospital.
