Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has yet to reveal its true intentions, but it continued to test its World Rally Championship-built Yaris.
Last spring, Toyota started selling its customer rally car, the GT86 CS-R3.
We then learned that former World Champion, Tommi Makinen had built (and drove in Finland) a WRC version of the GT-86, a request from Akio Toyoda, the big boss of Toyota.
At the same time Toyota Motorsport built a WRC Yaris, which was tested in different types of roads.
In this video, the Yaris was driven on tarmac in eastern France. It was driven by Sebastian Lindholm, cousin of two-time former World Rally Champion and Peugeot driver, Marcus Gronholm.
