This portion of the show is also where you’ll find the Dupont Registry stand, which showcases the Quebec-designed Plethore (making its official North American debut) along with modified trucks, a number of Lamborghinis and other exotics. "When we saw the Plethore, we knew that it had everything to be a hit, so we insisted that Dupont Registry becomes closely associated with the car. That’s our way of promoting the development of unique vehicles," explained the owner, John Dupont.

A Toyota that runs on natural gas
Day 2 of SEMA 2009 also marked the introduction of several new products, including parts and complex electronics. At least one automaker seized the opportunity to unveil a "serious" car, namely a Toyota Camry that runs on natural gas.

California’s Metal Crafter is responsible for adapting the powertrain. The natural gas management system has been fitted where the spare tire used to be. After the show, this Camry CNG will be given to Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of coastal environment.

On Thursday, the main attractions at SEMA will be new tool and equipment launches.
