Don’t like speed cameras? Neither do drivers in Milan, Italy, it seems. Art of Gears reports that a bunch of fed-up commuters recently bombed a speed camera located at the entrance of a tunnel.

They even left a warning notice on the scene: “Motorists are tired of cameras that serve only to make money. It’s just the beginning, the next time we’ll blow up the town.”

The local mayor reiterated that the city does not have anything to do with the control system: Speed cameras have been installed and are controlled by provincial police.

Apparently, speed cameras are being destroyed all around the world, too, from France to Argentina. What do you think? Should governments use a different approach to improve highway safety?
