Spyker has confirmed the commercialization of the C8 Laviolette LM85, none other than a street version of the C8 Laviolette GT2R, a car registered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The two-person vehicle is built on an ultra-light, aluminum chassis. The C8 Laviolette LM85 is powered by an Audi 4.2-litre, V8 mill producing 400 hp.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip rear differential. To stop the beast, they've equipped it with 6-piston caliper disc brakes up front.
The Spyker is easily identifiable thanks to its orange and silver paint job, its carbon fibre rear spoiler and its black alloy wheels. For a little extra, it can even sport a decal set identical to the one adorning the racing version of the Spyker.
What's more, proud owners of the car will receive a bonus Spyker Chronoswiss watch engraved with the car's serial number.
Intended for a very select clientele, only 24 units of the Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 will be manufactured. It should go into production in a few weeks.
