After competing two races in as many weeks, drivers and teams of the Star Mazda Championship will be in Mosport this week-end for a third race in only three weeks.

It will also be a second race in Canadian soil for this series that used to race in Edmonton and Toronto in the past, when they were racing with the Champ Car Championship.

Rookie Charles Hall is heading to Mosport on top of the standing even though he could not do better than a fifth place in Trois-Rivières last week-end. He is still followed by Alex Ardoin, Joel Miller and last two races winner Peter Dempsey.

Dempsey is followed by John Edwards, a young driver who, despite not competing in the first race of the season and having very poor results in two other races (Salt Lake City and Portland #2), is ranking in the standings after seven races of the 2008 season completed. He will definitely be someone to watch this weekend again.

As for the Experts and Masters class, their leaders didn't change and won't change unless something very huge happens to them! Chris Cumming and Chuck Hulse are very comfortably leading their proper class and will for sure head to Mosport with confidence.

There will be four races left to this season after the upcoming weekend in Mosport, Ontario.
