Subaru Canada released the first official pictures of the all-new 2014 Subaru Forester, which sports a bolder profile and offers more interior room with virtually the same exterior dimensions as the outgoing model.
The naturally aspirated 2.5L BOXER engine will still be available along with a new turbocharged 2.0L unit featuring direct injection and producing 250 horsepower. A new six-speed manual transmission will be introduced to improve fuel economy. The Lineartronic CVT remains optional.
The 2014 Subaru Forester will also include convenience and entertainment options such as smartphone integration, navigation, a rear-view camera and a harman/kardon premium stereo.
The new Forester will make its public debut in Japan on November 13th. The North American and Canadian premieres will take place in Los Angeles (late November) and Montreal (mid-January), respectively. Look for it to appear in showrooms shortly after.
