Suzuki Canada Inc. (SCI) today announced in a press release that it will stop selling new automobiles after the 2014 model year. However, all of SCI’s warranties will be honoured. Moreover, automobile parts and service will continue to be provided to customers without interruption through SCI’s warranty and service dealer network.

SCI will realign its business operations to focus on the long-term growth of its Motorcycle, ATV & Marine division in Canada. The transition is expected to take at least 12 months.

South of the border, American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) made a similar announcement back in November 2012.
