Tecnocraft launches T2 line of seats

With over 25 years of experience in designing sports seats that meet the highest standards of comfort, lightness, strength and support, Tecnocraft launched its new T2 line of seats.

Compared with the T1 seats, the company shortened the lower thigh supports to allow a more comfortable entry/exit and added more support to the upper torso.

The Tecnocraft T2 line of seats is constructed entirely of carbon fibre and/or carbon kevlar with aerospace-grade stiffeners. Designers also incorporated a certain reinforcement material known as Vectran, a liquid crystal polymer fibre that is primarily used in aerospace and military where high strength is desired.

Tecnocraft is offering the T2 seats in a standard version for the average body build and a larger version known as the T2XL for bulkier drivers. The former weighs approximately 6.5 pounds (3.0 kg), while the latter merely adds an extra pound (0.3 kg).
