Today, we look at rest of the models that have been axed after the 2007 model year. Some were great, some were not so great.

Honda Accord Hybrid

Honda Accord Hybrid
It doesn't happen very often that a Honda product isn't a sales success, but the company blew it with the Accord Hybrid. Unlike the hybrid version of the Toyota Camry, which is based on a 4-cylinder engine, this Accord had 3.0-liter V6, a combined power output of 253 horses and was marketed as the fastest model of the Accord family. Sales were scarce during its three-year life.

The Accord Hybrid cost $38,000 and although it performed well and drove pretty much just like any other Accord, Honda decided not to reintroduce it in 2008 along with the redesign of the whole Accord lineup.

Lincoln Town Car
Reduced to fleet sales in 2008, the Town Car disappears from showroom floors. Along with the Grand Marquis, the big Lincoln is old-school luxury, and it no longer fits in Lincoln's brand image. It's being replaced by the upcoming MKS.

With standard and long-wheelbase versions, the rear-drive Town Car was powered by a 239-hp version of the 4.6-liter V8 engine. Pricing ranged from $59K to $66K and up.

Maserati Coupé / Spyder / GranSport
You may not have seen this car very often on the road, and that's because Maserati didn't sell much of them. Still, the Coupé/Spyder was offered in North America since 2003, and is being replaced by the stunning 2008 GranTurismo.

The 2007 models were powered by a 390-hp, 4.2-liter Ferrari-derived V8, with a choice between 6-speed manual and sequential manual transmissions. GranSport models had 400 hp and the sequential transmission only.
