A tradition-rich T-Party
Braking must be planned well ahead. That's because you have to slow down the driveshaft before you can slow down the wheels. As for reverse, it requires the activation of a different pedal.

A big part of history
My initial contact with the Model T ended at the Hagerstown airfield, under the aging wings of legendary planes from the 1920s. However, the party isn't over yet, as many more events and gatherings are scheduled throughout the rest of the year. Enthusiasts can go to Detroit and take a tour of the original plant which gave birth to the Model T.

"The Ford Model T showed the rest of the world that we could build capable, reliable automobiles. This colossal icon represents what we were, what we are and what we will be," shouted Edsel Ford in front of an excited crowd.

One thing's for sure: the Model T deserves a whole chapter in the history books.
