The U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has released a ranking of vehicles with the lowest rates of driver deaths from 2009 to 2012. Nine of them posted a perfect “score” of zero death per million registered vehicle years. They are:
- Audi A4 quattro;
- Honda Odyssey;
- Kia Sorento;
- Lexus RX 350 AWD;
- Mercedes-Benz GL-Class 4MATIC;
- Subaru Legacy;
- Toyota Highlander Hybrid;
- Toyota Sequoia;
- Volvo XC90 AWD.
