The popular Kona’s all-electric variant – the small SUV is, remember, available also as an ICE model - is all new for this year. It brings to the table futuristic looks, more interior space and up to 420 km of range.
The Kona EV also gets standard 400V level III charging for a power return of 0-80 percent in 45 minutes. Also standard is Hyundai’s i-Pedal technology, which returns max regeneration as soon as the driver lets off the accelerator. Yes, you really can drive this car through town without ever having to reach for the brake pedal.
Also new for 2024 is an all-digital dashboard with dual 12.3-inch digital displays for the gauge cluster and infotainment screen. Heated front seats and steering wheel are also now standard.
