Back to the Future hit theatres in 1985, meaning this Hollywood classic turns 30 this year. Toyota will celebrate the milestone on October 21st, 2015, which is the date Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel to in the second installment of the trilogy, with the release of the Mirai fuel-cell sedan on U.S. soil.
The company has produced a short video featuring the two main actors, Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The trailer is already online, and the full clip will be posted on October 21st.
And while the Mirai represents Toyota’s vision of the future, the automaker couldn’t resist having a bit of fun with the Back to the Future past by recreating Marty’s dream Tacoma truck. This is heavy!
