Cadillac is playing the AMG / M card. In the last 2 years, they have come up with their own line of high-performance vehicles. The CTS-v was the first to arrive and now, we learn what it will cost to get behind the wheels of the STS-v and Cadillac's flagship, the XLR-v.

Both of these cars are endowed with a supercharged 4.4L V8. Output numbers are staggering. The STS swings with 469 hp and the XLR rips around with 460 hp. Torque numbers are identical for both at 439 lb/ft. This monster of an engine is mated to an electronically controlled 6-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels.

The STS-v will retail for $97,995 and the XLR-v will have an asking price of $112,995. Both will be available in dealership as of January 2006.
