NASCAR champion Tony Stewart and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton traded car Tuesday at the Watkins Glen road circuit. SPEED was broadcasting live from the track and here are two videos of the event organised and sponsored by Mobil 1.
The circuit was still damped when Hamilton took the wheel of the 3500-pound Sprint Cup Chevrolet of Tony Stewart.
However, the racing line was dry when "Smoke" took over the driving duties in the McLaren-Mercedes Formula 1 car.
Both drivers were delighted to have tested a very different race car from what they are used to. And both displayed brilliant driving skills in tricky conditions.
