The Volvo S60 and XC60 are getting a major update both in terms of design and technology.
Highlights include new sport seats with typical Volvo comfort, a wider front grille, a new LED light guide on the taillamps, hidden windshield washer nozzles, and a gloss black painted radar cover that becomes virtually invisible.
In other news, the addition of Sensus Connected Touch enables in-car connectivity and Internet access, turning the 7'' display into a state-of-the-art, infrared, beam-scanned touch screen that can be used even when wearing gloves.
The redesign of the S60 sedan accentuates its sporting nature, while the interior offers new upholstery colours, new wood inlays, a new headliner, and silk metal frames around the air vents and light controls. Buyers will also have a choice of four chassis types: Touring, Dynamic, Four-C (Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept), and Lower Sport Chassis (previously only available on the R-Design version).
The XC60 crossover sports a redesigned front end with a new hood shape. Inside, you'll find new wood inlays, a new headliner, textile B-pillars, and silk metal frames around the air vents and light controls. Corner Traction Control now comes standard.
We'll keep you posted on pricing information as soon as Volvo makes it official.
