The emissions scandal at Volkswagen keeps getting worse as the EPA revealed on Monday that more vehicles from the German automaker and its divisions are equipped with special software to defeat emissions tests.
All of them use a 3.0L diesel engine. Affected models include:
- Volkswagen Touareg (2014)
- Porsche Cayenne (2015)
- Audi A6 quattro (2016)
- Audi A7 quattro (2016)
- Audi A8 (2016)
- Audi A8L (2016)
- Audi Q5 (2016)
In the U.S., that means around 10,000 more vehicles than the 482,000 that were initially reported.
