The 2017 Geneva International Motor Show that gets underway at the beginning of March will host the launches of the new BMW 5 Series Touring (based on the exceptional next-generation 2017 5 Series) and the Mercedes-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ Estate (which can produce a whopping 612 hp!). Sadly, neither of these is expected to be produced for Canada.
Canadian consumers can currently choose between ten different wagon models, including four from Volvo, the leading producer of this type of car for the past several decades. An 11th model will be added to the list towards the end of 2017 when Mercedes-Benz launches its gasoline-fueled C-Class wagon (a diesel version was introduced last year in Toronto, but plans for that vehicle were waylaid by the subsequent storm around diesel engines).
