Yet another "Don't text and drive" campaign by SAAQ

The SAAQ today launched its fourth awareness campaign about the dangers of texting while driving. The theme is “Ne risquez pas votre vie pour un message banal. Au volant, on ne texte pas.” (Don’t risk your life for a trivial message. Don’t text and drive.), highlighting the pointlessness of texting behind the wheel.

In addition to a French-language, 30-second TV commercial set during a 19th-century war, the campaign includes English- and French-language radio ads that reference famous figures from history who have given their lives for a message.

Furthermore, drivers are invited to join the movement against texting while driving by displaying an SAAQ-designed rear window sticker, available in Familiprix drugstores. They can also activate the Focus Mode application that blocks text messages and incoming calls.
