Carpentier to compete in the "Hot Head Henry 200" CASCAR Super Series Event at Cayuga Speedway source: canadianracers.com CASCAR, Cayuga Speedway and Patrick Carpentier jointly announced today that Patrick will field the # 88 Jacombs Racing entry in the "Hot Head Henry 200" CASCAR Super Series event at Cayuga Speedway on September 2 and 3, 2006. The event will mark the first time that the legendary Canadian open wheel star will compete in a stock car event. Carpentier, currently associated with Mecachrome International, has a long and distinguished open wheel career racing in the CHAMP Car Series for 8 years with fellow Canadian teammate stars Greg Moore, Alex Tagliani and Paul Tracy of Forsythe Racing. He raced in the Indy Racing League with Red Bull Cheever Racing for one year. Carpentier is a household name in Canada and his many fans across the country will be delighted to watch him compete in a new form of racing.
