Drivers of the DTM series are currently enjoying a three-day pre-season test at Estoril, Portugal. Wednesday, Audi’s Jamie Green proved to be the quickest by crossing the line of the 4.182-kilometre circuit with his Audi RS 5 DTM in 1m32.774, 0.399 seconds faster than second-placed fellow Audi driver Mike Rockenfeller. Former Formula 1 driver Paul Di Resta ranked third with a time of 1m33.202 minutes, at the wheel of his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM. Canadian Bruno Spengler proved to be the fastest of the BMW drivers. The 2012 DTM champion set the sixth fastest time behind Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes-Benz) and Mattias Ekström (Audi). The busiest man of the day was Mike Rockenfeller. The German covered 652.292 kilometres in his Audi, representing the distance between the Nürburgring and the Lausitzring.
