Veteran DTM driver Tom Kristensen cannot say whether or not he will be back next year in
German touring car series. The winner of eight Le Mans races believes that problems between him and his team have blighted his 2008 campaign with Audi.
The Dane has not been successful this year, failing to win a race as he currently sits just seventh in the drivers' standings, trailing by more than 32 points his teammate and series leader Timo Scheider.
"For sure, this year has been very much up-and-down," the 41-year-old stated. "Obviously you need to be always up at the front, so in that sense it's been a disappointing season so far. There have been mistakes, there have been misunderstandings and there has been something which you can maybe defer as unlucky. I always look and talk with Audi at the end of the season, though, so we will see."
