The Manor F1 Team, based on John Booth’s revival of Marussia’s assets, is working hard to contest the 2015 Formula 1 season.
’Manor F1 Team’ emerged on the Internet and with official social media profiles featuring the slogan ’Get ready’, announcing it is preparing to exit administration. According to reports, Manor has also paid the 2015 $500,000US registration fees to the FIA. Crucial meetings are held this week between Manor and the group of investors (led by British entrepreneur Justin King), the administrators of the Marussia team, and the FIA officials. John Booth has also apparently hired several dozens of engineers and mechanics to update the Marussia MR03 chassis to the 2015 specifications.
Rumours suggest that the updated chassis could undergo the FIA crash tests before the end of February. It is also fair to predict that the team will need paying drivers for 2015. If Justin King’s business plan is approved (to use the Manor team as a billboard to promote the British industry), Will Stevens and Max Chilton are in good position to become the race drivers.
