Veteran Italian Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella will soon fulfil his lifetime dream to drive for the prestigious Scuderia Ferrari. He will race the red number 3 F60 for the first time next weekend in front of his fans at the Grand Prix of Italy in Monza.
Thursday, Fisichella visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. He has his race seat moulded and spent time with the engineers who explained him the working procedures of his new mount. Fisichella’s race engineer will be Rob Smedley, the man who was alongside him at Jordan when he collected his maiden Grand Prix win in Brazil in 2003.
