You saw it in the "Rush" movie. As we are just a few days before the Japanese Grand Prix, we propose this short, 3-minute video of the famous 1976 Japan Grand Prix, the title-decider between James Hunt and Niki Lauda.
The race was held at Fuji Speedway in torrential rain.
Just two laps into the race, Austrian Niki Lauda decided to park his Ferrari 312 T2 in the pits and retired, judging the conditions too dangerous to keep racing.
Meanwhile, his arch rival James Hunt, driving a McLaren M23, led the race, was forced to pit for new tires and eventually crossed the line in third, scoring enough points to win the world title.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
