Several up and coming race car drivers will have the chance to taste the stunning power and handling of a Formula 1 car this week at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in southern Spain.
This three-day test is reserved to young drivers who have no or extremely limited experience driving a Formula car. It is part of an evaluation process to see who could graduate to F1 in the next few years. For many of them this represents a golden opportunity to shine in front of the team owners and to cover the mileage required to obtain a Super Licence from the FIA. Each team is allowed to run only one car.
