Eighteen-year-old Stefan Wilson, whose older brother Justin drove for Minardi and Jaguar in 2003 before switching to Champ Car in America, was in London on Sunday night named winner of the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. Wilson's brother Justin, who is 29, never secured the coveted prize for promising British youngsters, but David Coulthard, Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson are among the previous winners. Selected among six nominees after a two-day test in various cars last month, Wilson wins $100,000 and a Formula 1 test for McLaren. |
