The news has been published on Infobea.com web site on Wednesday morning that American Formula 1 team USF1 will soon fold and will not participate in the 2010 Formula 1 World Championship.
Speaking to newspaper La Voz, USF1 Sporting Director Peter Windsor confessed to Argentine businessman Philip McGough and driver José Lopez’s parents that the team did not manage to build the cars within the agreed deadlines. Apparently, things began to tour sour when the main investor of the team, co-founder of YouTube Chad Hurley, left the venture and started negotiating with Adrian Campos. On Tuesday, the news came out that the building occupied by USF1 was put for sale. And today we learned that Brian Bonner, USF1’s head of business development, was no longer working with the team. If the American team does not participate, it would open the door to the participation of Stefan GP of Serbian billionaire Zoran Stefanovic. Photos: USF1
