IndyCar: Conquest Racing calls it quit for nowOnly a few days after Michael Shank Racing, Conquest Racing has decided to sell its Dallara DW12 chassis and look ahead to continue its adventure in sportscars for the coming season.
Owner Eric Bachelart has decided that it was too late to try and get the team running for the 2013 IZOD IndyCar season and will focus all its energy to running another season in ALMS in which the squad finished 2012 as runner-up in the LMP2 class.
Conquest is exploring options in several categories of the ALMS, and Bachelart believes that the experience the team gained last year will provide a strong base for its 2013 campaign. |
