IndyCar: Sebastian Saavedra joins Bourdais at Dragon RacingDragon Racing has confirmed that Sebastian Saavedra will drive the team’s TRUECAR-sponsored Dallara DW12 for the upcoming 2013 IZOD IndyCar season alongside regular driver Sebastien Bourdais.
For the Colombian, this means a full-time return to the series after running a limited 2012 schedule with Andretti Autosport and also competing in the Indy Lights Series. Prior to that, the 22-year-old drove for Conquest Racing in 2011. Besides the TRUECAR livery, the No.6 car will also show the colors of the numerous Colombian sponsors that have been backing Saavedra since the beginning.
Team owner Jay Penske has high hopes for Saavedra, who replaces Katherine Legge as the team’s second driver. |
