Frenchman Tristan Vautier will drive again for Dale Coyne Racing in Belle Isle-Detroit (the Chevrolet Indy Duals In Detroit) after racing for the team at the Indy 500 last weekend.
Vautier, the 2013 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year, will be back behind the wheel of the No. 19 Dallara-Honda. Vautier did very well at Indy. He first qualified the No. 19 DCR entry 21st for James Davison, who had a previous obligation in another series during time trials at the Speedway. He was then drafted in at the last moment to drive the No. 18 in the race for Carlos Huertas who was sidelined by an ongoing inner ear condition.
