NASCAR: Andrew Ranger becomes a « Snowbird »Young Canadian Andrew Ranger has decided to move to Florida this next winter in order for him to be up and ready in case he receives invitations from teams to test in one or more NASCAR series.
The driver from Roxton Pond, Quebec, says that his manager, Alan Labrosse, is having discussions with a number of teams, either in Nationwide or in the Truck Series, for next season and that numerous options could become available, if, of course, budgets are found. Ranger could also run a full or partial program in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in order to please his Canadian sponsors. As well, the former Champ Car competitor could also run in the 24 Hours of Daytona, and his presence in Florida could help him if he has to conduct tests. Photos: Philippe Champoux - Auto123.com
