NASCAR released its’ 2010 schedules for Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Trucks today. With a few modifications they are substantially the same as this years’.
The successful Nationwide race, at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will return to Montreal on August 29th, 2010. The Spring Sprint Cup series have swapped dates. In April 2009 Texas Motor Speedway preceded the race at Phoenix International Raceway. Next year the Phoenix will go first, followed by Texas. Dover Downs’ first race will get green flagged on May 16th. Traditionally, it had come the week after the Labor Day 600-miler at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Pole qualifying for the Daytona 500 will be on Saturday, February 6th. In the past it was a standalone event on the following Sunday. There will also be four “off” weekends including the traditional East holiday which falls on April 4th. Photos: NASCAR - Getty Images
