Carl Edwards has confirmed that he will be driving his Roush Fenway racing No.60 car for the third edition of the Nationwide NAPA Auto Parts 200 that will be held on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal this coming August.
Edwards lies in second place in the Nationwide championship behind leader Kyle Busch and is presently seventh in the Cup Series standings. The Cup No.99 car driver was involved in a spectacular accident last weekend in Talladega when his car wounded up in the fence in the last moment of the race.
It will be Edwards's third visit to Montreal and he finished sixth last year in a race that had to be stopped because of torrential rain.
