The organisers of the famed Dakar raid held this year in South America said that motorcyclist Pascal Terry has been found dead at the Dakar rally on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old's Frenchman, competing in the rally for the first time, had been missing since Sunday's second stage and his body was found in a very remote area.
