The Rich Life is Within Reach

During summer, I can think of a few things better than having the ability to drop the top down on a convertible, especially on a scorching hot day. It felt marvelous to have the sun shining on my face, the wind blowing through my hair, the seat warmers warming my back, and Diana Krall playing in the background. Yes, life can get pretty darn good.

The week started off on the rainy foot, but nevertheless the sun came through before parting with the 2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited. Temperatures eventually rose enough even to match the car's Inferno Red color scheme.

Chrysler's drop top is truly a luxury car. It's classy from all angles, with curvaceous lines and an attractive new grille and headlight design that sets it apart from the previous model. It's especially ritzy inside, where light taupe premium leather trimmed bucket seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, plus a stylish woodgrain adorned instrument panel offer an upscale appearance. It also comes standard with 16-inch chrome aluminum wheels dressed with P205/60TR16 BSW all season tires.

Talking about luxury, I was parked in my local pharmacy parking lot one night talking on the phone, when an elderly man walked right up, put his glasses on and checked out the car. Not realizing I was still in the convertible he circled it, commented on how nice it was and yelled to the woman he was with, "I think it's a Mercedes." I chuckled. I guess it partly is a Mercedes!
