If you've got a personality and aren't interested in blending into the masses of Impalas, Accords and Camrys, you might consider checking out the latest from Dodge.

The Avenger has plenty of attitude; more so than just about every other car in the midsize segment.

It's called the Avenger -- a super-cool, superhero name that isn't quite the sort of thing you'd expect to see fixed to the trunk of a four-door. With this name, you can be sure Dodge has packed its new sedan full of character and muscle, and that all the other standard superhero traits are present too.

Friendly and Watchful
The Avenger will seat 4 or 5 adults comfortably, treating each to easy entry and exit and protecting them with a full compliment of airbags.

Traction and stability control are also fitted. Unfortunately, neither system can be turned off though both are appreciably programmed to not intervene until absolutely necessary -- rather than jumping all over slightest hint of aggression.

Exciting and Energetic
Park your new Avenger next to your favorite generic family-mobile, and you'd hardly notice it was there. The body-kitted front end, gigantic wheels and alarming face all add up to a stirring look that stands out and turns heads. It certainly isn't shy -- that's for sure.

The same character carries on inside. The competition often has more of the right kinds of materials in the right places, though it's obvious more passion and effort went into the Avenger's interior styling. Tasteful chrome, two-tone coloring and a modern look come together for a fun, upbeat atmosphere which is unparalleled for the price.

Don't miss the soft-glow LED lighting when boarding the Avenger at nighttime either -- it electrifies the cabin's look and shows it off proudly. With reflective surfaces in all the right spots, it's as gorgeous at night as during the day.

A Nice Package
Options package, that is -- not the kind of package you might expect to see from a caped crusader in lycra shorts.

The R/T model tested came with all the power goodies you'd expect, and a boatload of other nice touches to help drivers enjoy the ride.

The Avenger's interior is accented with tasteful chrome accents, two-tone coloring and a clean, modern look.
